40. Basics of Game Theory: Normal Form Games

40. Basics of Game Theory: Normal Form Games Video Clips. Duration : 9.47 Mins.

In this video, I demonstrate how to solve 2x2 games for the pure strategy Nash equilibria. I give two examples: (1) The Cartel Competition game, which has the same structure as the Prisoner's Dilemma, and (2) The Battle of the Sexes, which is a coordination game. For a list of videos and links to these videos (organized by topic), check out the Intromediate Microeconomics video web page: blog.thisyoungeconomist.com This video goes along with my textbook, "Intromediate Microeconomics," which is available for purchase ( for an E-book with solutions) at: www.lulu.com
