Argentina supercell time lapse! January 5, 2010 Tube. Duration : 2.77 Mins.

Incredible video of a rapidly rotating supercell just north of Santa Rosa, Argentina on January 5, 2010. This storm came so close to producing a tornado, with a textbook wall cloud and intense clockwise rotation. Note how the mesocyclone is rotating the opposite of what we have in the Northern Hemisphere. Video shot by JR Hehnly. Storm chasing team Scott Currens, JR Hehnly, Reed Timmer, Chris Chittick, Chris Whiteneck, Bobo, Seamone, and Argentinian meteorology students Ramiro and Matias.
